Despite having competed in just one race since Sept. 18 because of a shin injury, the All-Metro senior won the Anne Arundel County championship on her home course Thursday, coming across in 20 minutes, 18 seconds to win by 13 seconds and lead the Seahawks to a second-place finish. It was the third straight county championship for Lee, who also claimed the Class 4A East regional title last year before placing 13th at states. Lee, who maintains a 3.0 grade-point average, also has excelled in outdoor track, earning All-Metro second-team honors last spring.
