Caitlin Bach

A 5-foot-11 swing player, Bach is the top returning player in Carroll County, bringing back 20 points and 10 rebounds a game. She already has a school-record 1,217 career points and 791 career rebounds.

The Xavier-bound, dynamic 5-foot-3 guard leads the Panthers with more than just her 17 points and five assists a game. Her leadership and relentless defense have sparked an often-overwhelming transition game.

Briana Hutchen
St. Frances, forward, senior

A much stronger inside presence than her 5-foot-10 frame would indicate, Hutchen is a powerhouse on the boards. She also ranked among the Panthers' top scorers and was a key contributor to their tenacious defense.

Asia Logan
Digital Harbor, forward, senior

The Pittsburgh-bound Logan, 6 feet 1, uses her athleticism and solid inside-outside game to excel as a point forward. She led the Rams to their first state title last winter with 19 points and 18 rebounds a game.

Maggie Morrison
Archbishop Spalding, guard, junior

Morrison is a smart 5-foot-8 point guard who can do a little of everything but may be most valuable for her leadership. She averaged 11 points, five assists, four rebounds and three steals last season while harassing opponents on defense.

Shantrel Oliver
River Hill, guard, senior

Oliver, 5 feet 5, transferred to River Hill last year and led a veteran Howard County championship team with 14.5 points a game. With a mostly new squad around her, look for her to continue to lead the way.

Amber Singletary
Seton Keough, guard, junior

Singletary, 5-feet-9, capped a breakout season with the Most Valuable Player award at the ESPN RISE National High School Invitational, where the Gators were champs. Look for her 10-point scoring to increase this winter.

LaShay Taft
City, guard, senior

One of the slipperiest offensive players around, Taft, 5 feet 8, uses her athleticism and long-range shooting skills to give almost every defense trouble. She can hit from a few feet beyond the arc and averaged 15.9 points last season.

Tiffany Taylor
Aberdeen, guard, senior

A 5-foot-5 shooting guard, Taylor is known for taking opponents off the dribble, as she averaged 17 points per game last season. Her shooting and her contribution to the Eagles' man-to-man defense will be key this season.

Sheronne Vails
Arundel, forward, senior

At 6 feet 5, Vails has been a force on the inside for three years. Bound for Louisville, she averaged 11.9 points, 8.4 rebounds and 3.8 blocks in leading the Wildcats to the Anne Arundel County championship.
