Hall had a knack for moving the ball down field with ease, reading the defense and moving quickly to create scoring chances for herself or her teammates. She could thwart most defenders with her finesse, field sense and a knack for knowing when her teammates would make their moves.

Always steady and unflappable, the senior had scored 14 goals and 12 assists as the No. 4 Grizzlies went 18-3 and reached the IAAM A Conference final.

In her fourth season as head coach, Masoner guided the Lions to the county crown and to their third trip to the state tournament in four years. They avenged an earlier loss to C. Milton Wright in the regional final but fell 1-0 to South River in the title game.

Masoner (48-12-2) credited the leadership of her core players with energizing the team, but she has also built confidence among the Lions, who have continued to get better during her tenure.
