The senior standout captured his second boys individual state golf championship Thursday, finishing with a two-round score of 147 at Potomac Ridge in Waldorf.
Trailing by one shot going into the second day, Eure shot a 2-under-par 71 to come away with a five-stroke win over runner-up Jay Dove of LaPlata.
Eure, who has accepted a golf scholarship at the University of Arkansas, shot even par through the first nine holes on the pivotal second day and bogeyed the 10th hole before enjoying birdies on the 13th, 14th and 15th holes to win going away.
Eure, who maintains a 3.95 grade-point average, captured his first state championship as a sophomore at South River.
