The 6-foot-1 Pikesville guard produced a major outpouring of points in three games last week to lead his team to a 13-3 record. Gilmore scored 74 points, including 31 against New Town and 27 against Owings Mills. He is averaging 25 points, and coach Anthony Dorsey says unabashedly, "He's the main reason we're 13-3. He's a naturally gifted athlete." Gilmore has scored 163 points in his past six games, and the team has won 10 of its past 11. A senior with a 2.9 grade-point average, he has not decided where he will go to school next year. But athletic director Ted Winner said he will be a strong addition wherever he goes. "Devohn is a strong student and an outstanding role model," Winner said.
