The junior won the Jesuit Cross Country Championship on Saturday in Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, N.Y., in 12 minutes, 55.7 seconds, which is the fastest time posted in that meet since at least 1980. In leading the Dons to a third-place team finish, Jablonski became one of only a handful of runners to come in under 13 minutes in the 60 years the race has been run on the park's 2.5-mile course. He also won the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference title earlier this month and is a four-sport athlete at Loyola. A "B" student, he also played for the Dons' soccer team this fall and runs indoor and outdoor track.
