The senior lineman helped the No. 3 Hawks (9-0) to a big game on both sides of the ball in Friday's 35-14 win over then-No. 14 and previously unbeaten Atholton to clinch the Howard County title. At defensive end, Erdman had eight tackles - three for a loss - and three sacks, as well as a forced fumble. At offensive guard, he was a key to allowing the Hawks to gain 350 yards. For the season, Erdman has 59 tackles - 15 for a loss - and seven sacks. He has forced three fumbles and run one of them in for a touchdown. He is getting looks from a few college programs, including James Madison.
