Bangle said the key was the extra work the team put in during the offseason, and the commitment the team made to reaching the final.
"Last year we made it to states, but we did not qualify for the second day," Bangle said. "That kind of resonated in their head a little bit. So, they wanted to get some tournament experience and get back to that state tournament to give themselves a chance."
