The senior catcher had the best season of his career, batting .456 with 25 RBIs, nine doubles, a triple and two homers. "He was our MVP," said coach Joe Connolly, whose Cougars fell in the 3A state title game. Behind the plate, Bailey showed an ability to manage the game, calming his pitchers in key situations. He'll play at Division III Alvernia College next season.
