Arrests in Baltimore for illegal guns often lead to dropped charges or little jail time

The junior guard led the No. 4 Millers to wins over two Washington, D.C.-area teams last week in the Beast of the East Showcase, including a 59-53 victory over Holy Cross in which she scored all eight of her team's points in overtime. White, a two-time All-Metro first-team selection, hit a 3-pointer and went 5-for-6 from the free-throw line in overtime to finished with 20 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. A 5-foot-6 combo guard, White also had 21 points, six rebounds, three assists and nine steals in a 79-59 win over Friendship Academy. She has a 3.79 GPA and is being highly recruited by college programs such as St. John's, Princeton, Virginia Tech, George Mason and Howard.
