Lynn rallied from a six-shot deficit midway through the final round to win the state championship last fall, birdieing the final four holes. The senior became the first Baltimore City and African-American golfer to win the state title.
Girls Player of the Year: Stephanie Connelly, Northeast
Connelly won her third state championship in four years for Northeast this season after finishing second, one shot behind, the year before. The senior will play golf at Ohio State.
Coach of the Year: Rick Collins, St. Paul's
Collins lost some key people from last year's lineup, but St. Paul's pulled out another match-play championship. He has nine regular-season titles in 14 seasons at the school.
Tyler Bare, St. Paul's
The senior, at No. 1 most of the year, was seventh in the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association tournament. He's going to South Carolina.
Marlowe Boukis, Dulaney
One of the state's most consistent golfers during her time at Dulaney, the senior finished third in last year's state tournament.
Michelle Grilli, Pikesville
A junior, she finished second in the state tournament and probably will be the state's best girls golfer next year.
Patrick Hinch, Aberdeen
The junior finished second in the state last fall and figures to again be one of the state's best golfers next year.
Michael O'Neil, St. Paul's
The senior played at No. 3 most of the season, but came on strong to win the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association individual tournament. He's headed to the College of Charleston.
Chris Rockwell, Gilman
Rockwell, a junior, finished second in the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association tournament and continued to be one of the conference's best players.
Greg Stamas, Gilman
Stamas played strongly in the No. 2 spot for Gilman and the junior finished fourth in the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association tournament.
