The sophomore had a standout performance in helping the Dons claim their 20th Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A title in the past 21 years at Saturday’s league championship meet at McDonogh’s Roseburg Aquatic Center.
Clark won individual title in the 200- and 500-yard freestyle races, was part of the Dons’ winning 400 free relay team and had a second place finish in the 200 free relay.In winning the 500, Clark achieved All-American consideration with his time of 4:33.74. The 400 free relay time (3:08.22) also achieved consideration.
Clark also claimed the 200 free with a time of 1:40.71. The Dons won the team title with 479 points to comfortably beat runner-up McDonogh, which finished with 415.
