Milford Mill, sprints, senior

Brown played a big role in Milford Mill's second place finish in Class 3A this winter. She can run sprints and relays and score a lot of points for the Millers.

Sharon Dorsey

Western Tech, sprints/middle distance, senior

Dorsey helped Western Tech win the Class 2A state indoor title in its first season there this winter. She won the 300- and 500-meter state titles as the Wolverines edged out Largo by three points.

Ellie Gonzalez

Catholic, distance, senior

Gonzalez hasn't been running in as many races this year, but the senior remains almost impossible to beat. She won the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland title in both the 1,600- and 3,200-meter indoors with little trouble.

Isabel Griffith

Dulaney, distance, senior

Griffith missed part of the indoor season while training for a bigger meet, but rebounded to win the Class 4A 3,200-meter championship. Next year, she'll run at Penn.

Olivia Gruver

Franklin, pole vault, junior

Gruver is coming off a great indoor season in which her vault of 13 feet won the Class 3A state title and set a state record.
