A transfer from Wilde Lake, Oliver made an immediate impact on the No. 6
Hawks, leading them in scoring with an average 17.2 points in their first six
games, all wins. Oliver, a quick, versatile 5-foot-6 point guard, led the Hawks to two
victories last week, including a 20-point effort in a 67-41 win over No. 11 Howard
that left the Hawks the only unbeaten girls basketball team in Howard County. She also had three rebounds,
four assists and four steals in that game. Oliver contributed 15 points, three steals and two assists
to a 52-43 win over Oakland Mills.
