Rachel Pillion, Towson
The Generals had a good group of runners, but Pillion made the difference in their winning the Baltimore County and Class 3A state title.
Coach of the Year
Gil Stange, Towson
Stange hadn't coached cross country in seven years but took the reins again at Towson this fall, and it turned out to be a good move. Stange pushed a good group of runners to the next level, as the Generals won the Baltimore County and Class 3A state titles. They came in second in the regional meet. He did a good job of keeping the runners focused throughout the season.
