(Dec. 14, 2011) An extremely hard worker according to his coach, Pat Clatchey, Williams showed how that work can pay off with 65 points in three games last week. The 6-foot-2 junior shooting guard scored 28 of those points Friday in a 78-76 victory over No. 3 St. Frances. Williams seemed to will his team to the lead when the No. 2 Gaels were trailing by 13 points. He is a consistent honor roll student and has the ability to efficiently work for his shots within the flow of the game. He scored 22 points against St. Maria Goretti and 15 against Archbishop Spalding. Others considered: Tanner Brooks, St. Paul's, basketball; Taran Carr, Owings Mill, wrestling; Austin Carroll, Arundel, basketball; Antoine Montgomery, Benjamin Franklin, basketball; Keonte Potts, Centennial, basketball; Jeff Taylor, Bel Air, wrestling; Ahmaad Wilson, Owings Mill, basketball.
