Outlook: The Eagles will try to repeat in the MIAA. Mikey Singer, Andrew Robinson and several others are in the lineup and should give this deep team a shot at a second straight title.

2. Century

Last season: No. 2

Postseason: Class 2A state champion

Outlook: After winning the Class 2A state title last winter, the Knights lost top performer Julian Woods. They return John Mead and others and remain a dangerous team.

3. Hereford

Last season: No. 5

Postseason: Second in Class 2A

Outlook: The Bulls always find a way to get points because they have so many talented athletes. That will be the case this year, especially if some of their younger guys can pitch in.

4. Gilman

Last season: No. 3

Postseason: Second in MIAA

Outlook: Matt Tully takes over as coach, and he'll get an indoor team with lots of talent in lots of places. The question is whether the Greyhounds have enough to challenge McDonogh.

5. Severna Park

Postseason: Third in Class 4A
