(Oct. 26, 2011) Jenkins did all he could to keep the Bluebirds in their game Friday against Hereford, scoring five touchdowns (two rushing, two receiving and one on a return). The senior, who plays running back, slot receiver and defensive back, accounted for 402 all-purpose yards to bring his season total to 1,697. He scored on 65- and 40-yard receptions, ran for 73- and 8-yard touchdowns and ran back the opening kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown in the 51-32 loss. He also made three solo tackles and broke up one pass. "He's like a one-man team," Bluebirds coach Tony Ruocco said. A first-team All-Baltimore County return man last fall, he has 3,885 total yards and 31 touchdowns in his career. Jenkins, who has a 3.0 GPA and also plays basketball and runs track, is drawing attention from Towson, Temple and Rutgers among other football programs.
