The senior forward had a role in 12 of the Gators' 15 goals last week, leading No. 14 Reservoir to four wins in that span. Rager, a captain, finished the week with five goals and seven assists as Reservoir improved to 5-1 on the season. In a 4-0 win over Glenelg on Sept. 16, she finished with two goals and one assist. On Sept. 18, she added a goal and three assists in a 5-0 win over Hammond. At C. Milton Wright's Mustang Invitational on Saturday, she had two goals and an assist in a 3-1 win over the host team before recording two assists in a 3-2 win over Leonardtown. Rager moved up to the varsity squad during the playoffs in her freshman season in 2010, and she received significant playing time as the Gators won the state championship. As a sophomore, she started at sweeper and then she played all over the field last season. Mostly used at forward this season, she has five goals and eight assists. Rager, who has a 3.7 GPA and is set to play soccer at Bridgewater (Va.) College, also stars at point guard for Reservoir's basketball team.
