A two-time All-Metro attacker, Whittle scored 16 goals and had six assists in four wins last week as the Eagles broke the national high school girls lacrosse record of 103 consecutive wins, running their streak to 106. The senior had six goals and three assists in the 18-10 win over then-No. 12 St. Paul's that broke the record. She also had six goals, including the first four, in a 15-7 win over North Harford in the opening round of the Mount Hebron tournament. She added a goal and two assists in a 15-8 win over No. 5 Mount Hebron and a goal and an assist in a 16-9 win over No. 2 Marriotts Ridge. Whittle, a team captain for the Eagles' lacrosse, field hockey and indoor track teams No. 6 field hockey, No. 1 indoor track and No. 1 lacrosse teams, has a 3.7 GPA and has signed with Maryland. A veteran of the M&D Lacrosse Club, she has 62 goals and 12 assists this spring and has signed with No. 1 Maryland.
