Boys Athlete of the Week (May 13, 2014): Jordan Leon, Milford Mill, track and field( Karl Merton Ferron, The Baltimore Sun / March 19, 2014 )
The standout junior captured three individual races at the Baltimore County track and Field championship at Pikesville on Saturday, leading the Milford Mill boys to a third-place finish. Leon, who was an All-Metro first-team selection in the indoor season, won the 800-meter dash (1:58.73); 1600-meter dash (4:26.22) and 3200-meter dash (9:38.28) and was the only individual to win three events. Milford Mill finished with 63 points, behind second-place Franklin (77) and winner Dulaney (97). In the indoor season, Leon captured the 800 and 1600 in the county championship and went on to place second at at the state meet's 800 race in Class 3A.
