A four-year starter and All-Metro first-team selection last season, Booth led the No. 2 Gaels (29-4) to the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference titleon Sunday by scoring 25 points with six rebounds and two assists in a 68-58 win over defending champion St. Frances (No. 8) at UMBC's RAC Arena. Set to play at Villanova, Booth is averaging 18 points, six rebounds and three assists per game this season. On Monday, he was named the Baltimore Catholic League's Player of the Year. Last year, Booth was a first-team selection in the MIAA and BCL, and also was chosen the BCL's Defensive Player of the Year.
