The Tour Championship

When: Thursday-Sunday, East Lake Golf Club, Atlanta.

Course: 7,319 yards, par 70.

Format: 72 holes, stroke play. No cut. Field is limited to final 30 players in FedEx Cup points race.

Purse: $8.5 million ($1.4 million to winner).

2010 champion: Jim Furyk (8-under-par 272, one shot ahead of Luke Donald). Furyk is not at East Lake, standing 36th on the points list after last week's BMW Championship.

FedEx Cup: Points are reset this week to give everyone a mathematical chance of winning the FedEx Cup. A win by any of the top five — Webb Simpson, Dustin Johnson, Justin Rose, Luke Donald or Matt Kuchar — would lock up the title without outside help. A $10 million annuity from the FedEx bonus pool awaits the champion.

TV: Thursday-Friday, 1-6 p.m. (Golf Channel). Saturday, 1-2 p.m. (Golf), 2-6 p.m. (NBC). Sunday, noon-1:30 p.m. (Golf), 1:30-6 p.m. (NBC).
