    • Worthington Valley in Owings Mills did sell the land to a developer and since the building was in terrrible condition as well as the grounds, the owners thought it best to sell the prime land.

Course description: Bentgrass fairways, greens and tees. Kentucky Blue grass in the roughs. Water is on five holes. Ernie Els' first signature course along with J. Michael Poellot design group. Opened in June of 2000.

Tees: Black - 7,001; Blue - 6,525; White - 5,979; Red - 5,296

Recommended best playing times: May to October

Time spacing at first tee on busy weekends: 10 minutes

Difficulty getting playing times on weekends: Not hard. Tee times are taken two weeks in advance.

Cost per round: Monday-Thursday: $82; Friday-Sunday and holidays: $99; twilight Monday-Thursday: $62, twilight Friday-Sunday: $69


All rates include greens fee, cart fee, range balls and Global Positioning System in carts.


Offseason (March 10-April 10, October 27-November 30): $67 Monday-Thursday, $79 Friday-Sunday and holidays. Twilight Monday-Thursday: $55, twilight Friday-Sunday and holidays: $59.


Winter (December): $59 Monday-Thursday, $67 Friday-Sunday and holidays. Twilight Monday-Thursday: $49, twilight Friday-Sunday and holidays: $54.

Cost for carts: Included in greens fees.

Pro Shop: Fully stocked pro shop with men's and women's apparel, golf clubs, balls, golf hats, bags, shoes and socks.

Services/Amenities available: Head Pro is on site. Golf lessons are available. The course has a range, putting and chipping green. Fully stocked clubhouse that includes a restaurant and bar. Rental clubs are available along with a beverage cart.

Clubhouse: Bathrooms include showers and lockers.

Significant advantage/distance from men's tee boxes: Approximately 700 yards shorter.
