    • Worthington Valley in Owings Mills did sell the land to a developer and since the building was in terrrible condition as well as the grounds, the owners thought it best to sell the prime land.

Course description: Built in 1974, mix of rye and bentgrass, water in play on 9 holes

Tees: Black - 6,432; Gold - 6,125; Forward - 5,271

Recommended best playing times: Midday on weekdays are usually the only time you can walk in and play right away

Time spacing at first tee on busy weekends: 9 minutes

Difficulty getting playing times on weekends: Tee times are recommended. Take tee times 7 days in advance

Cost per round: Monday-Thursday, 18 holes: $33 walk ($25 midmorning special from 9:30-11:30 a.m.; $22 twilight), $48 ride;


Friday-Sunday, 18 holes: $40 walk ($27.50 twilight), $55 ride.


Rockville resident discount, junior and senior rates available.

Cost for carts: $15 per person

Credit cards accepted: Visa, MasterCard

Pro Shop: Full service golf shop

Services/Amenities available: Driving range, snack bar, putting green, practice bunker, lessons, club rental
