    • Worthington Valley in Owings Mills did sell the land to a developer and since the building was in terrrible condition as well as the grounds, the owners thought it best to sell the prime land.

Course description: Mid-length Course opened in 2002; Al Janis re-design of an existing course

Tees: back - 3,767, middle - 3,300, forward - 2,646

Recommended best playing times: any time

Time spacing at first tee on busy weekends: 10 minutes

Difficulty getting playing times on weekends: Take tee times up to a year in advance if you are playing 18 holes

Cost per round: May-October: $27 including cart. Seasonal and afternoon rates available.

Credit cards accepted: Visa, MasterCard, American Express

Pro Shop: Full pro shop offers everything except shoes.

Services/Amenities available: Lessons, club rental, chipping green, putting green.

Significant advantage/distance from men's tee boxes?: Tees are categorized as forward, middle and back, not men's and women's.

Benches and ball washers at women's tee boxes?: No

Bathrooms: None on the course, just at the clubhouse.

Comments: New course was built on an existing course and extensively renovated. Four holes on the back nine offer views of Ayres Creek. Considered more challenging than the North course.
