    • Worthington Valley in Owings Mills did sell the land to a developer and since the building was in terrrible condition as well as the grounds, the owners thought it best to sell the prime land.

Course description: Built in 1915, Clifton Park was the first public golf course in Baltimore.

Tees: back, 5,954; middle, 5,714; front, 5,469

Recommended best playing times: Weekday mid-afternoon, weekend twilight

Time spacing at first tee on busy weekends: 8 minutes

Difficulty getting playing times on weekends: If more than one or two golfers, need a start time

Cost per round: Weekday $24. - $28., Weekend $29 - $33., Weekend Pre Twilight $24 - $28.,


Twilight rates (times vary, four phases), $12 - $24


Early bird, $16 (9 holes, back 9 first, 1 ½ hours). Senior and junior rates available.

Cost for carts: All fees include carts. Walking is permitted at any time on the course, regardless of whether a cart is in the group or not. Pull carts are allowed and available free of charge.
