The Lions didn't always look pretty on Sunday afternoon, but they got the job done winning their first game of 2012.
Detroit defeated St. Louis 27-23 after Matthew Stafford threw a touchdown to Kevin Smith for his second touchdown of the day with under 10 seconds in the game.
Stafford also threw three picks in the game -all coming in the first two quarters of the game.
"Matt never lost confidence in himself, Matt never lost confidence in his teammates," said Lions head coach Jim Schwartz
"Maybe having a battle tested victory may serve us better in the long run."
