West Catholic survived Forest Hills Northern in week 3. A 33-27 win in overtime extended their OK Blue conference winning streak to 21. That's every game since joining the the Blue in the fall of 2008. In fact, before Northern, the only OK Blue team to be in a game with Falcons was Comstock Park last yaer.
The Panthers fell at home, 24-12 in 2010 and 1 year later have a different result on their mind. Comstock Park is led by Junior quarterback Jake Brown who led his team to the regionals last season as a sophomore. The Panthers have also found a running back in Jon Hoffman.
West Catholic might not have the same potent offense they possesed the past few years, but they can still move it with the running of Jalin Faison and the short passing game directed by Tommy Staskiewicz.
I look for a low scoring game, and I am calling for the streak to end tonight.
