Grand Rapids Griffins owner Dan DeVos has been named chair of the Orlando Magic. DeVos will work alongside his father, Rich, who owns the Magic.

Rich will serve as the senior chair of the Orlando Magic, while Dan will take on the responsibilities of chair. Dan DeVos will serve as the Magic’s lead representative on the NBA’s Board of Governors while Dick DeVos and Martins will serve as Orlando’s Alternate Governor to the NBA’s board and member of the NBA’s Team President Advisory Council.

“The DeVos family’s commitment to team ownership and the Central Florida community is truly multi-generational as we bring more family representation to the organization,” said Dan DeVos.

Dan DeVos is a governor of the American Hockey League - the league in which the Griffins play.He also serves on the West Michigan Sports Commission board and is on the board of directors for the Amway Corporation.
