Defending champ Querrey gets wild card into Delray Open

The Delray Beach Open announced that reigning champion Sam Querrey  accepted a wild card into Feb. 20-26 ATP tournament.

Querrey is one of five former Delray champions in the field, along with Ivo Karlovic (2015), Kevin Anderson (2012), Juan Martin del Potro (2011) and Tommy Haas (2006). 

In addition to the returning champions, the Delray Beach Open field will be co-headlined by top seed and world No. 4 Milos Raonic, American Jack Sock (No. 19) and Australian Bernard Tomic (No. 33).

At 29, Querrey is making his ninth appearance in Delray Beach, where he is 13-7.

Before the ATP event, the Delray Open includes an ATP Champions Tour event featuring six former tennis stars playing in a Team USA vs Team International format , playing from Feb. 17-19.
