THE STORYLINES 1. Depth. Adrian says that this is his deepest team, with the ability to rotate players at most positions and keep fresh bodies on the field at all times. 2. Quarterback. Probably the biggest question mark. JC transfers Chris Walley and Jake Strickler and junior Dexter Merritt, who has had two ACL surgeries, battle for the job. 3. Defense. Free safety Terrell Whitehead is the only significant loss from a defense that ranked sixth overall in the FCS in 2009.
