Share your thoughts and memories about former Baltimore Colts quarterback John Unitas.

I grew up loving to watch Johnny Unitas play Quarterback for the Baltimore Colts. He was my all-time favorite! May God bless you and your family. Thank you for being who you were...one of my Heroes!

Johnny U, played back in the days when sports were respected by the players. Their God given talents were not abused and although it was their job, they enjoyed it.

I moved to the area in 1988 when there was no football. Johnny U always gave this town hope and stature as some that could be looked up to. Thanks for your contribution on this planet while you were here. God bless you and your family.

I feel honored to have grown up watching Johnny U when pro football was more of a sport and less of a business. Thanks for all the memories!

My father told me of John U and his legend grew with me over time, as I got to meet the man when I was a walk on player at Towson University as as football player in the early1990's. What a great human

John would come in to the Harware Fair store where my dad worked and they had the same joke between then " Hey theres Bart Starr" "I'm not that pretty Russ" John always had time for his fans and elevated what our humdrum day with his kindness

John did more for Baltimore and Maryland than everything else combined. What he players are fighting for now he was fighting for 20 yrs ago. And as usual put himself on the line.
