Down a goal, the visiting No. 10 North Carolina men's lacrosse team went on a 3-0 run over the final 10 minutes to upset No. 7 Princeton, 13-11, on Friday night.
Chad Tutton completed a hat trick by scoring the go-ahead goal with 3:50 left for the Tar Heels (4-1). Jimmy Bitter (two goals) added an insurance goal with 13 seconds left.
Princeton (2-2) put together a 4-0 run that overlapped the third and fourth quarters to take its last lead of the game. Kip Orban and Tom Schreiber each had three goals for the Tigers.
No. 18 Towson 12, Marist 9: Joe Seider (Hereford) and Chris Vetter each had a hat trick to lead the Tigers (4-2) past the host Red Foxes (2-3).
Stanford 8, No. 15 Towson 7, OT: The Cardinal (4-1) scored the last two goals on free positions and upset the host Tigers (2-3).
Hannah Farr scored the game-winner with three minutes left in overtime.
Hood 15, Notre Dame Maryland 6: Brigid Ayer scored five goals to power the host Blazers (3-0) past the Gators (0-2).
Hood opened with a 5-0 run and was never threatened.
Brittany Peddicord (Dulaney) led Notre Dame with two goals.
Washington College 24, Susquehanna 14: Emily Hubley scored her 100th career goal as the host Shorewomen (1-1) beat the Crusaders (1-2).
