No. 5 Johns Hopkins (9-1)

Coming up: Vs. No. 10 Maryland, Saturday, 6 p.m.

Comment: The Blue Jays have dominated the series, winning 68 of 107 meetings. Senior attackman Chris Boland scored five goals — all in the second half — in the team's 12-11 overtime win against the Terps last year.

No. 8 Loyola (10-0)

Coming up: At No. 7 Denver, Saturday, 9 p.m.

Comment: The Greyhounds have lost both games in this series since the Pioneers joined the Eastern College Athletic Conference before the 2010 season. Junior long-stick midfielder Scott Ratliff is tied for 11th in Division I in caused turnovers per game (2.1).

No. 10 Maryland (6-3)

Coming up: At No. 5 Johns Hopkins, Saturday, 6 p.m.

Comment: The Terps have dropped eight of the past 11 meetings and six of the past seven at Homewood Field. Senior midfielder Michael Shakespeare has converted 41.4 percent of his shots.

No. 20 Navy (5-5)

Coming up: At No. 17 Army, Saturday, noon

Comment: The Midshipmen lead the series 57-30-3 but have lost three straight and four of the past five. Senior attackman Taylor Reynolds has scored a goal in eight consecutive games — tops among Navy players.

Mount St. Mary's (3-6)

Coming up: At Robert Morris, Saturday, 1 p.m.

Comment: The Mountaineers have defeated the Colonials by a combined 31-24 in two contests. But the defense will have to craft a game plan to contain senior midfielder Kiel Matisz, who is 11th in the nation in points per game (4.1).

Towson (7-4)

Coming up: Vs. No. 11 Penn State, Saturday, 7:30 p.m.

Comment: The Tigers have won 13 of 18 meetings in this series, but the two sides have split the past four contests. Senior attackman Sean Maguire leads the team with 18 goals, one more than his career total entering the season.

UMBC (4-5)

Coming up: Vs. Stony Brook, Saturday, 7 p.m.

Comment: The Retrievers lead the series 11-6, but the Seawolves have won five of the last seven games. Junior attackman Scott Jones is tied for 17th in the country in goals per game (2.4).
