As expected, the Jayhawks clobbered the Red Raiders 79-42 at Allen Fieldhouse on Senior Night.
Every single player on KU's team played Monday night but the seniors led in scoring. Jeff Withey had a game high 22 points, followed by Kevin Young with 14. Travis Releford and Ben McLemore had 13 a piece and Elijah Johnson finished with seven points.
McLemore wasn't included in the senior year festivities but that could have been his final game in Lawrence. The redshirt freshman is expected to declare for the NBA Draft after this season. He is projected to be a high lottery pick if he does leave KU.
KU barely broke a sweat it seemed like against Texas Tech, leading by as many as 27 in the first half, only to lead by 25 at halftime. Johnson finished the night with 12 assists, many of them were from alley-oop dunks.
Jayhawks made only two three-pointers all night, one of them came from Withey of all people. Releford made the other.
Perry Ellis came in off the bench, had seven points all coming at the free throw line but also had seven rebounds.
