The presiding judge in the Jerry Sandusky trial approves the return of the $50,000 cash to Sandusky's wife, Dottie. Judge John Cleland also ordered the lien on Sandusky's home which was used as $200,000 collateral, be released.
Jerry Sandusky asked Judge Cleland today to return the $50,000 bail money and release his home, which was used as $200,000 collateral. Sandusky's attorney, Joe Amendola, filed the motion on Thursday to return the money and claim to Sandusky's wife, Dottie.
Sandusky was convicted in Centre County on June 22, 2012 on multiple counts including Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Indecent Assault, Corruption of Minors and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The trial of the former Penn State Defensive coach attracted international attention.
