Series: Morgan State leads 41-34-3

What's at stake: Just when it appeared that Morgan State was losing tread in the race for the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference title, the team rebounded with a 30-27 victory against Hampton last Saturday. The Bears moved into a tie for fourth place in the league with Hampton (3-6, 3-2) and still trail No. 12 Bethune-Cookman (8-1, 5-0) by two games. Morgan State still needs help from its conference rivals to catch Bethune-Cookman, but the Bears have won three of their past four. The Aggies have endured a roller-coaster season, opening with three consecutive victories before losing three straight. They are now on a two-game winning streak but are 1-2 on the road against conference opponents.

Key matchup: Morgan State's run defense has allowed three opposing players to rush for more than 100 yards in the past four games. Aggies freshman running back Tarik Cohen ranks second in the MEAC in rushing (740 yards) and third in touchdowns (five), and senior running back Domonique Drake has added 325 yards and four scores.

Players to watch: If Morgan State decides to go with junior quarterback Seth Higgins (Edgewood) as the starter, can he play well despite sitting out the past two games with a sprained right (throwing) shoulder? If the Bears elect to stay with junior Robert Council, can he duplicate his effort against Hampton last week (20-for-27, 287-yard, one-touchdown)?
