Series: Bethune-Cookman leads 17-8.
What's at stake: Morgan State tries for its sixth win in seven games after starting the season with back-to-back losses. The Bears' defense posted its first shutout in more than five years in a 12-0 win at Delaware State last week. Morgan can capture the conference championship by winning its three remaining games. Bethune-Cookman has won three in a row after dispatching North Carolina Central, 34-6, last week.
Key matchup: Bethune-Cookman sophomore RB Isidore Jackson is second in the conference with 644 yards on 99 carries with five touchdowns this season. He earned MEAC Offensive Player of the Week for his 206-yard performance against Norfolk State this season. The Bears rank fourth in the conference at stopping the run. Morgan senior DT Kevin Myrie had a career-high eight tackles last week, leading the run defense.
Players to watch: Bears redshirt freshman RB Tracy Martin ran for a game-high 154 yards and scored the team's only points against Delaware State a week ago. He carried the ball 38 times as the Bears muscled through the snow and sleet. The Wildcats have allowed just 12 total points in the past two games and are led by DE Ryan Davis (nine sacks, five forced fumbles).
