Something that not many people know about you: “Nothing that I can think of.”
Best football moment: “I guess I’ll have to say my very first game playing high school [as a freshman.] I remember going down on kickoff and actually making the first tackle. I was playing DB at the time, and I think I had maybe two knockdowns and four or five tackles.”
Role model: “It would be my father if anything. He lets me know what to do and what not to do. He lets me make my own decisions, to a degree, but he’ll let me know what he thinks is the best idea. In some cases, he just directs me to what path should be taken. He’s just an overall great role model for a young man.”
Why Maryland? “The same reason that everyone says -- coach Friedgen. He not only cares for us as players, but as people. And that’s honestly the same environment I’ve had in high school. I want to be around the same kind of atmosphere in college.”
