Season recap: Kevin Dorsey
Kevin Dorsey and his Forestville (5-5) team finished its season with a 66-29 loss to Dunbar in the Class 1A South semifinals.
Dorsey caught seven passes for 143 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed for an 80-yard score.
Dorsey finished the season with 50 catches for 902 yards and 11 touchdowns.
"I've had five Division I wide receivers and none of them got the coverage he got," said Forestville head coach Charles Harley. "[Teams would have] two guys on him and they could care less what we did anywhere else. They put a man on the line of scrimmage and a man 10 yards off. On 4th and inches [in a recent game] they still covered him that way. No matter the situation, they committed two men to him the entire game.
"He had an interception return for a touchdown, a kick return for touchdown, so he put it in the end zone in a variety of ways [this season]. ... Nobody trains harder than him."
Harley said Dorsey has finished his requirements for graduation at Forestville and plans to enroll at College Park in January.
