Jordan, 21, was "very animated, intoxicated and uncooperative" with an off-duty officer who tried to arrest him outside an Embassy Suites Hotel in downtown Omaha, Omaha police said in a statement.
Police were called to the scene at 2:11 a.m. when the off-duty officer asked for help subduing Jordan during an argument with two women or girls in the hotel driveway, police said.
"After a brief struggle, it took multiple officers to control and handcuff the suspect," the news release said.
Jordan was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and obstructing justice. He was booked into the Douglas County Department of Corrections and bonded out at 3:39 a.m., police said this morning.
Jordan, who a police report said lives in Chicago, led Whitney Young to the Class 4A title in 2009, averaged 13.7 points a game for Central Florida last season.
