Blake had four points, five assists and one steal in the Blazers' 95-83 loss to the Houston Rockets on Monday. Blake is averaging 7.7 points, 4.8 assists and 2.4 rebounds per game this season. He's averaging 33.7 minutes per game in February, up from 26.1 in January.
Dixon's minutes have tailed off recently as he's only played five, six and 11 minutes in the Raptors' last three games. On Monday against the San Antonio Spurs, he had one rebound and one assist without attempting a shot in five minutes. Dixon is still capable of providing a spark when he plays though, as evidenced by his 18 points in 24 minutes on Jan. 19 at Philadelphia. On the season, Dixon is averaging 4.4 points and 12 minutes per game, all as a substitute.
Joe Smith, Chicago Bulls
Smith had 27 points and eight rebounds in a 114-108 win over the Golden State Warriors on Feb. 7. He followed it up with 14 points and four rebounds in a Feb. 9 loss to the Utah Jazz. Smith is averaging 11 points, 5.1 rebounds and 22.5 minutes per game this season.
DJ Strawberry, Phoenix Suns
Rookie DJ Strawberry racked up nine points in 11 minutes during a 132-130 loss to the New Orleans Hornets on Feb. 6. Since then he's scored four points in a Feb. 8 win against the Seattle Sonics and five points in a win over the Washington Wizards on Feb. 10. Strawberry is averaging 3.2 points and 8.4 minutes per game this season.
Chris Wilcox, Seattle Sonics
Wilcox had 15 points and 10 rebounds in a 105-92 win against the Sacramento Kings on February 6. He followed up by scoring 22 points and bringing down 15 rebounds in a 103-99 loss to the Phoenix Suns on Feb. 8. Wilcox is averaging 13.2 points and 7.4 rebounds per game this season.
Steve Francis, Houston Rockets
Steve Francis is scheduled to have season-ending surgery in the coming weeks to repair a torn quadriceps tendon. He told the Houston Chronicle on Feb. 8 that he plans to return to the Rockets next season. Francis played just 10 games this season, averaging 5.5 points and 19.9 minutes per game before his injury.
