Jarred Jones, a John Carroll product, had a huge game for Loyola in the Greyhounds' close win Wednesday.

Jarred Jones (John Carroll) grabbed 12 rebounds and scored 23 points, including a go-ahead floater with 45 seconds left, and Loyola Maryland held off Bucknell, 78-77, on Wednesday night to end a two-game skid.

Trailing by nine at halftime and by as many as 15 in the second half, Bucknell rallied to a 60-59 lead after Nana Foulland’s dunk capped a 9-0 run. The Greyhounds tied it at 62 on a 3 by Andre Walker, but Zach Thomas’ 3-pointer put Bucknell up 69-67 with 4:37 to go. Jones made consecutive layups and Loyola led 71-69 with 2:09 left.

Lehigh 74, Navy 55: Austin Price scored 19 points and led five players into double figures as the host Mountain Hawks (15-11, 9-6) beat the Midshipmen (15-12, 10-5).

Albany 78, UMBC 69: Devonte Campbell scored 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, David Nichols added 18 points, and the host Great Danes (17-11, 8-5 Ameirca East) won their third striaght, beating the Retrievers (16-10, 7-6).

Women

UMBC 63, Albany 60: Emily Russo made the go-ahead layup with 1:44 left and the host Retrievers (13-12, 8-4 America East) went 3-for-4 from the free-throw line in the final minute to beat the Great Danes (15-10, 9-3).

Navy 79, Lehigh 44: The host Mids (19-6, 12-2 Patriot League) outscored the Mountain Hawks (8-17, 2-11), 52-28, in the second half.

Bucknell 57, Loyola Maryland 39: The host Bison (20-5, 12-2 Patriot League) won their 23rd straight home game and reached 20 wins for a second straight season.
