Wisconsin lineman Konrad Zagzebski was released from the hospital after being hurt in Saturday loss to LSU.

Wisconsin defensive end Konrad Zagzebski was released from the hospital Saturday night and the school announced he would travel home with the team after being taken off the field on a stretcher during the Badgers' 28-24 loss to LSU in Houston.

Zagzebski stayed on the ground after a collision with LSU running back Kenny Hilliard, but gave a thumbs-up to the crowd as he was taken off the field and transported to Methodist Hospital in Houston for further evaluation.

Shortly before midnight, Badger Football announced via Twitter: “Happy to report that senior DL Konrad Zagzebski has been released from the hospital & will travel home with us on the plane. #Badgers.”

Zagzebski's status for Wisconsin's next game against Western Illinois on Saturday is unknown.
