Patrick Kane is officially ready for the NHL postseason.
The Blackhawks star visited 316 Club Barber Spa in the Loop Tuesday to get a playoff mullet for the fourth time in five years, according to 316 Club general manager and barber Carmelo Preiti. Fellow Blackhawk Brandon Saad joined Kane at 316 Club and is participating in the playoff mullet tradition for the second year in a row.
How does Kane’s mullet compare to the ones he’s sported during past postseasons?
“(It’s) a little different,” Preiti said by email. “Not much of a change though.”
The Blackhawks have won the Stanley Cup two of the three years Kane has taken part in the playoff mullet tradition. They open the postseason against the St. Louis Blues Thursday.
