Tatyana McFadden is 2-for-2 in her drive for five.
The University of Illinois junior won Wednesday's wheelchair 800 meters at the Paralympic Games in London.
McFadden led from start to finish in a time of 1 minute, 47.01 seconds. Edith Wolf of Switzerland was second in 1:49.87.
McFadden won the 400 meters Monday. She plans to race the 100, 1,500 and marathon, giving her a range of distances no athlete ever has attempted in the Paralympics.
