Fourth-ranked Chesapeake-AA won, 6-0, against Gaithersburg in a Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association Class 4A baseball semifinal Tuesday at the University of Maryland campus.
Chesapeake will play Sherwood in a championship game at Ripken Stadium on Friday.
No. 5 North Harford 8, La Plata 2: A two-run rally in the seventh inning wasn't enough for the Warriors, and the Hawks won a Class 3A semifinal at Joe Cannon Stadium to advance to a championship game against Reservoir at Ripken Stadium on Saturday.

Northern will play Linganore for its seventh straight state championship at Maryland.
