Shawntae Payne scored 18 points off the bench and Coppin State won its third straight game with a 56-51 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference victory over host Norfolk State on Saturday in Echols Hall.
Payne was 6-for-10 from the field and 4-for-7 from the 3-point line as she topped the Eagles in scoring for the fifth time in the past seven games.
Coppin State won its third straight game and improved to 7-11 overall and 3-2 in the MEAC. The Eagles forced Norfolk State into 29 turnovers, which they converted into 32 points.
Mount St. Mary's 86, Bryant 84, OT: Selina Mann scored the decisive basket in overtime to help the Mount hold off the Bulldogs.
Mann gave the Mount (8-8, 4-1 Northeast Conference) an 85-80 lead with 1:17 left in overtime.
The Bulldogs (4-12, 0-5) then scored four of the final five points and missed three layups in the final five seconds with a chance to tie the game.
The Mount hasn't won its first four league games since the 1999-2000 season.
Sydney Henderson led the Mount with 21 points, and Mann added 17 points, seven rebonds and five assists.
Hampton 66, Morgan State 60: Bianca Jarrett had a game-high 31 points and the visiting Bears (5-12, 3-1 MEAC) led for most of the game, but the Pirates (13-5, 4-0) took the lead for good, 47-46, on a layup by Nicole Hamilton with 7:26 left in the game.
Delaware State 72, UMES 63: The host Hawks (5-9, 1-2 MEAC) had a three-point lead at halftime before being outscored 40-28 in the second half.
The Hornets improved to 5-11 and 2-1 behind Tasia Bristow's 22 points.
Lincoln (Pa.) 61, Bowie State 60: Brooke Miles went 1-for-2 from the foul line with 13 seconds left to lift the visiting Lions (7-10, 3-4 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association) over the Bulldogs (4-11, 1-6).
Bowie State trailed by three at the half but regained the lead with 5:04 left on a pair of free throws by Jasmine Jacobs.
Salisbury 78, St. Mary's 69: Kate McGahagan scored 18 points and Becca Himes added 17 to power the visiting Sea Gulls (9-7, 4-1 Capital Athletic Conference) past the Seahawks (9-8, 2-4).
Muhlenberg 77, Washington College 69: A late run in the first half and an early run in the second propelled the host Mules (10-6, 7-4 Centennial) past the Shorewomen (8-9, 6-6).
McDaniel 60, Franklin & Marshall 57: Three players finished in double figures for the Green Terror (7-9, 4-8 Centennial) as it won on the road against the Diplomats (6-11, 3-9).
Host Franklin & Marshall led throughout the game and was on top by as many as nine points until a jumper gave McDaniel a 53-51 lead with 2:36 remaining.
Marymount 68, Frostburg State 46: The host Saints (14-4, 4-1 CAC) scored 28 points off 22 Bobcat turnovers to cruise to an easy conference victory.
Marymount seized an early lead and controlled the paint throughout the game, outrebounding Frostburg State (5-11, 1-5) by a 68-46 margin.
Johns Hopkins 70, Dickinson 46: Alex Vassila scored 14 points and grabbed 15 rebounds for the visiting Blue Jays (9-8, 7-5 Centennial) as they upended the Red Devils (10-6, 6-6) for their fifth straight victory.
Arcadia 64, Stevenson 48: Led by Sam Caligiuri's 25 points, the host Knights (9-8, 2-8 Middle Atlantic Conference) dealt the Mustangs (5-9, 2-8) their fifth straight loss and sixth straight on the road.
Drew 59, Goucher 42: The visiting Rangers (6-11, 2-4 Landmark Conference) converted 52 percent of their shots in the first half and held on to defeat the Gophers (5-11, 1-5).
