The Morgan State women's basketball team got way more than it bargained for from Lincoln (Pa.).

The Lions' Pam Zephrah made a layup with four seconds left to tie the game at 82 and force overtime and had six of her team's 12 points scored in the extra period as Division II Lincoln (Pa.) upset the host Bears, 94-86, Friday.

Morgan State (0-1) led 52-38 at the half before Lincoln rallied in the second half, scoring 40points. The Bears shot 19.4 percent from the field in the second half to the Lions' 40 percent.

Tracey Carrington finished with a game-high 34 points for Morgan State, and Zephrah had 28 points.

Idaho 81, Mount St. Mary's 63: Sydney Henderson finished with 20 points, her third consecutive game with at least that many, but the Mount (0-3) fell to the defending Western Athletic Conference champion Vandals (1-1) in the consolation round of the Preseason WNIT at Loyola Chicago. 

Henderson, now 12 points away from 1,000 for her career, also led the Mount with nine rebounds and five assists.

Dickinson 78, Hood 70: Mary Martin had 13 points and 10 rebounds to lead the host Red Devils (1-0) past the Blazers (0-1) at the Days Inn Tip-Off Tournament. Danni Medocich had 13 points for Hood.

King's 74, Frostburg State 69: Elaina Hummell had a game-high 23 points in a losing effort for the host Bobcats (0-1) at the Jim Crawley Tournament. The Monarchs (1-0) advance to the final.

McDaniel 77, Mary Baldwin 26: Codi McCaster scored 11 points and Stephanie Fish had 10 as the host Green Terror (1-0) beat the Fighting Squirrels (0-1) at McDaniel's Tip-Off Tournament.

 

Brigham Young 108, Mount St. Mary's 76: Rashad Whack scored a team-high 19 points, but the visiting Mount (0-3) fell to the Cougars (3-0).

BYU had a 20-point lead at halftime.

Hood 85, McDaniel 70: Cameron Cook (Calvert Hall) scored 19 points to lead the Blazers (1-0) past the Green Terror (0-1) in the opening round of the Shenandoah Tournament in Winchester, Va. Timi Tinuoye had 13 points for McDaniel.
